Not Just Affordable Jerseys: New Products Released for 2019

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Affordable Jerseys, a top re-seller of licensed Major League Baseball merchandise, announced an expansion of their product offering in advance of the 2019 baseball season.

“We found success serving thousands of baseball fans with the jerseys of their favorite players, and we’re thrilled to announce our new line of shirts and merchandise,” shared Owner and Operator Andrew J. Chapin.

The website released a preview run of the new merchandise for fans of the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Oakland Athletics.

The new merchandise line strikes a tone familiar to existing Affordable Jerseys customers. As Chapin noted, “We learned a lot from our 2018 customer survey and kept those lessons top of mind.”

One example is the demand for Yankees merchandise that mirrors real life: the Bronx Bombers wear jerseys that feature the player number on the back and omit the name. Affordable Jerseys was the first to sell licensed Majestic Athletic Cool Base player jerseys in that same style, while many competitors included the player name.

The company has released several player shirts, including an Aaron Judge No Name Player Long Sleeve and a Luke Voit Sleeveless Workout T, which honor the long-standing tradition of no names on the back.

Another example is appetite for merchandise celebrating lesser-known players. While competitors focus on merchandise that will sell in volume, Affordable Jerseys takes a more artisanal approach, producing limited runs of beloved lesser-known players. Examples in the already-released preview a long-sleeve Vladimir Guerrero Jr. shirt and a player T for Dodgers fan-favorite veteran Rich Hill (in both womens and mens).

The company plans weekly releases of new product for all thirty ballclubs throughout the 2019 season.
